The principle is different. The effect is different. Different use scenarios. Polarised sunglasses are more suitable for outdoor activities such as driving, fishing and holidays; non-polarised sunglasses are more suitable for daily commuting and shopping.
In addition, polarised sunglasses have the following disadvantages compared to non-polarised sunglasses
Fear of high temperatures. Polarised sunglasses have a polarising film inside that can burst in high temperatures, causing the lenses to break.
They cannot be cleaned in an ultrasonic cleaner. Otherwise the lenses will turn black.
When looking at the windscreen of a car or the screen of a mobile phone with a film applied to it, there is a colour dispersion phenomenon which disturbs the visual effect.
