Lens type. Choose the right refractive index for your lenses based on the degree of myopia, generally there are different refractive index options such as 1.56, 1.60 and 1.74. The higher the refractive index, the thinner the lens is likely to be, but not the higher the better and the choice should be based on the individual's degree of myopia. For myopia up to 400 dioptres, lenses with a refractive index of 1.56 are usually sufficient. Also consider the Abbe value of the lens, i.e. the clarity - the lower the refractive index, the higher the clarity.
Lens brand and material. Choose lenses from a well-known brand, focusing on quality and value for money. Common lens materials on the market include glass, resin and PC.
Face fit. Choose the right frame shape for your face shape, e.g. round or square frames for googly-eyed faces, narrow and slightly rounded frames for diamond-shaped faces, slightly widened frames for elongated faces, and so on.
Eyeglass frame material. Titanium frames are relatively soft and light and do not accumulate sweat easily, while steel frames are harder and heavier.
Budget and price. Compare prices and services from different suppliers and choose glasses that offer good value for money.
Extra features. For example, lenses with blue light and UV protection can help reduce visual fatigue, but are not essential.
Overall, you should consider your personal needs, face shape, budget and features when choosing glasses.
